Sterling is so grateful to our wonderful church community for their generous donations to our school. We would like to thank the Encounter Church for their generous donation last week. We loved getting to meet Pastor Matt and his wife, Ashley. Thank you for making a difference.

Even if you didn't sign up - feel free to come volunteer!

Mrs. Clark’s 3rd-grade class filled their marble jar! Students earn marbles by making the right choices, getting compliments, and following Sterling's expectations. They celebrated by reading in blanket forts!

Third-grade classes have participated in intramural towel hockey for the past few weeks. Classes play against each other in the morning, before school starts. The kids are playing hard and practicing sportsmanship and their skills while getting some exercise. Towel hockey ends on November 1.

Sterling had a visit from the UCM Literacy Team and Mr. Bob Jackson, Athletic Marketing and Promotions Director, who explained the purpose and foundation of this program which started over 30 years ago, and introduced the UCM athletes.
After the assembly, the athletes went into classrooms to read the donated books which were purchased through the Carol Hughes Memorial Fund.
Sterling students were thrilled about the arrival of new books for our Library, and the chance to meet the UCM athletes, not to mention the enthusiastic presence of MO, which led to plenty of cheering and High 5's!
