Mrs. Tucker's 4th-grade class brought all the smiles to Sterling Elementary this week when they surprised Mr. Brazil with an unforgettable question: "Will you be our student teacher next semester?"
In a creative twist, each student held a candy Ring Pop as they popped the big question. His face lit up as the classroom filled with cheers and laughter!
Mr. Brazil's work with the class during his field placement has made an incredible impact on these students. Their excitement to see him return speaks volumes about his dedication and care. Thank you, students and Mrs. Tucker, for reminding us of the joy of teaching and learning.

4th Grade Sterling Artists are hard at work constructing and painting toilet paper-built masks in the Art Room! Students are using lots of creative problem-solving skills in this fun activity. Some of their masks will be on display May 7th, 5:15-7 pm at the Fine Arts Festival in the Sterling Cafe!

As we aim to maintain excellence in education, we are on the lookout for high-quality staff to join our team. We believe that the key to our success lies in recruiting dedicated professionals who are passionate about nurturing young minds and contributing to the positive culture that Sterling already has.

Ms. Salas and Ms. Ahmann's class participated in Sterling's annual field trip to the Johnson County Courthouse on 4/05/2024. Students were able to learn about the trial process, tour the facility, and participate in a mock trial of Goldilocks & the Three Bears.
