LET'S CELEBRATE OUR DIFFERENCES!

Sterling Elementary was blessed with a special guest yesterday.
Ibiyinka Alao, a Nigerian Art Ambassador for the United Nations, and his wife Kaila, brought amazing artwork, music, storytelling, and a message of peace to our school. Ibi inspired Sterling students and staff with positive energy,
He is currently working with producers to present "My Fireflies" Musical on Broadway in NYC this year.

March is Music In Our School's Month!
Sterling Elementary has been challenged with a Musical March Madness!
Sterling students and staff can vote each day for the song that they choose. Whichever song wins the most votes goes on to the next round. Songs are competing with each other and the competition is set up just like a basketball march madness bracket! The theme is “Feel Good Music” and by the end of the tournament, we will have a winner feel good song!
Songs are from many different genres including, pop, country, soul, R&B, and classic rock.
Stay "TUNED" for the winner...........

Celebrating Music in Schools Month - Thank you to Mrs. Weldon for all the wonderful things she does for Sterling.

We are truly thankful for Student Teachers here at Sterling and Miss Crosby has been an amazing leader on our team. She has finished her 8-week rotation as an Art Student Teacher with us. We will miss her and wish her the best!! She will be at WMS for her next Art Student Teaching experience. We will always consider her a part of our Sterling Family!

Sterling 4th grade students just performed a program on Tuesday night titled “Make a Difference”. To do just that, we decided to take our performance to the Warrensburg Manor Center on Wednesday and Friday this week. Students visited and sang their program songs for the residents. This was a wonderful experience for both the residents and the students!
